Warning: potential spoilers ahead for the Walking Dead TV series and comics.
Glenn is one of the most endearing (and enduring) characters on The Walking Dead, which of course makes him one of the most popular. One of the great truths of Robert Kirkman’s brilliant comic book and TV adaptation, however, is that no character is safe from taking a bullet or becoming lunch for the undead.
And so it was this last Sunday that our friend Glenn apparently fell from atop a dumpster to his grisly end at the hands of several dozen zombies. Maybe.
The show creators and execs at AMC have been particularly cagey about Glenn’s passing -- cagey in a way that they haven’t been when other characters have died. The way the scene was shot could lead you to believe that maybe Glenn survived, but it’s difficult to see exactly how.
That caginess and the ambiguity of Glenn’s fate led to an explosion of internet speculation -- here are some of our favorite articles on the topic.

Of course we have some great issues of The Walking Dead comic available in the Atlanta Classic Comics store, and occasionally some other Dead merchandise too. Check it out!
