So I got an unfortunate email from eBay today. I think I've mentioned this before, but back in March of this year, I got an invitation from eBay to participate in a program they were offering where we paid $0.00 insertion fees for up to 50K listings every month.
This was huge for us as it allowed us to expand our staff and balloon our inventory from about 20K items up to just shy of 50K items. But unfortunately.. all good things must come to an end. The email I received today told me that our program is ending on the first of the year, which means we'd like to dump a little inventory.
SO... we're pricing our cheap stock lower than we ever have before and dropping EVERYTHING priced at $2.99 or lower, down to $0.99. AND if you buy 10 $0.99 books or more, we're ALSO going to ship them for free (domestic).
To get this promotion / pricing, I just need you to make us an offer on anything priced at $2.99 or less at $0.99 and use promo code "99" and we'll accept the offer. If you buy 10 or more, we'll knock the shipping off for you (domestic) when we invoice you for the purchase.
This sale is good from the moment you read this message until the day after Christmas. Then we'll check the stats and see if we're going to extend it.
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
I'm also going to bring back the 50% off sale on EVERYTHING priced at $10 or less as another means to shrink some inventory before the fees come back. On anything priced less than $10, just offer us half of the asking price, and we'll accept.
STILL MORE!
Lastly, for all you big spenders out there looking to save a little handy loot on some more expensive stock, we'll knock 25% off on the rest of the store. Just offer us 25% less than the asking price on anything priced north of $10 and we'll accept.
Now get out of here and start digging through those virtual dollar bins!
Merry Christmas!
