New stock had been a bit slow to trickle in on the heels of the holidays, but the floodgates opened up for us this week. We've been circling 3 pretty large collections since the week after Christmas and finally got one picked up this week, we also had 2 smaller batches of nice stuff come in, so all in all, the "key" stock is in the process of being replenished with haste.
Believe it or not, today was actually the first time EVER, that I actually got into an attic to look at a collection. Thanks to our incredible warm streak we've had in Atlanta since the beginning of the month, it was perfect attic weather, not too hot, not too cold. The customer had approximately 30 old liquor boxes filled with comics. And I was specifically instructed to "cherry pick" what I could find. Also a first, as I've never been asked to leave someone with the less "desirables" while we leave with the "goods" but she had her reasons. The scans from today's haul aren't ready yet, I'll have them in next week's update, but they will include our second new copy of New Mutants 98 this week, and a Hulk # 181 amongst a few hundred other small to medium keys & ltd. series.
